Arctic monkeys tribute seeking frontman (alex turner)

R U Monkeys is a brand new Arctic Monkeys tribute act based in West Yorkshire. We plan to start performing summer this year, aiming to average 2-4 gigs a month, mostly around Yorkshire but possibly further afield for good pay. Drummer, guitarist & myself (bass) rehearse weekly at Loom Studio in Birstall WF17 on a Monday evening but this can be shifted if needed.

ESSENTIAL:
* professional instrument standard - lead vocals & guitar
* vocal range suitable to sing most songs in original key
* willingness to take the spotlight, embodying Alex's mannerisms & taking solos
* physical appearance generally similar to Alex
* comfortable with IEMs - some songs will be run to click tracks
* local to or willing to travel to Birstall WF17 for weekly rehearsals
* willing to gig on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays

IDEAL:
* aged 20-30
* native Yorkshire accent
* own transport
* amp modeller rather than cab (flexible on this though!)

BONUS:
* basic keyboard abilities for songs such as Four Out Of Five
* connections to deps who could cover role if required
