Bassist wanted for alt rock band, wyrd tides.

Wyrd Tides are looking for a bass player.

A noisy, yet tuneful, alt-rock outfit, who play original material, we're based out of House of Mook Studios in Meanwood, Leeds.

Main influences inc; Faith No More, Queens of the Stone Age, Mark Lanegan, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Stone Temple Pilots, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, White Stripes, Soundgarden, among others.

We have material written and ready to go, and we're getting close to recording and gigging. We just need a bassist to complete the jigsaw!

We're accepting applicants of any gender/background. An interest in some of the above artists would help, though that's not a clincher. As for ability: quick learners are as welcome as experienced heads. We're a chilled, friendly bunch, so grumpy folk or egomaniacs need not apply. :)

We don't currently have any recorded material to share, unfortunatley. Coming down for a listen & chat would be the way forward.
