Find most Musicians like to stick to 440Hz when tuning after all it's what you learned with right? everything is default set to it, so it's no wonder most people never consider changing and experimenting with different frequencies.
All most people do is tune their guitars down or up while staying in 440Hz.
In recent times there's been a lot of talk about the 432Hz being the original tuning of ancient instruments and I wonder how many are interested in this, to see what effect these have on people how they can make the audience feel because we never see how much music effects everything around us.

Just wondering what others are tuning into what works and what don't, share your thoughts.
Have You Ever Changed the Frequency of Your Instruments

A quite common variation I like , used by both Clapton and Blackmore, is to simply down tune the bottom E string to a D....this is used very effectively on the opening riffs of "Forever Man" (Clapton) and Deep Purple's "The Battle Rages On"..to name a couple.....its just a nice simple, but interesting sound.
