Is it just me having had particularly bad luck or are most live music venues absolutely dreadful at replying to an enquiry from bands looking to play there? Worst culprits of all from my experience tend to be those venues (pubs etc) whose own websites advertise the fact that they're keen to hear from new bands. Experience tells me differently.
