Looking to set up indie/alternative band

I'm looking to set up a indie/alternative band, that will play originals we have written together. It would be inspired by bands from peace, the slaves, catfish and the bottlemen, the smiths, stone roses ect. I'm 16 however I will be 17 mid April and first year in college.
