New Orleans Style Street Music

Do you love the music of New Orleans and the Bayou's of the South? I am looking for like minded musicians to start a new project heavily influenced by the music of this region. Starting from the ground up the plan is build a repetoire of covers of some of the classics of the genre, some chart songs redone in this vein and to develop some original material as we progress. In particular I am looking for a co-conspirator to help turn the ideas I have for covering music from other genres in this style into a reality.
