Singer looking for an alternative band

Not the strongest singer but having lessons and want to start a band to kind of develop together sort of thing and have fun whilst making music (hopefully awesome tuneage ;)) I'm also teaching myself guitar
I like a lot of music but especially rock and gothic rock, ska, some new wave, electronic, punk, punk rock etc
