Slash/GNR/VR

I am a bass player in my 40's who grew up on Eighties and Nineties Hard Rock and Metal.
I want to be part of a band that celebrates the music of GnR, but also Slash's other bands/solo stuff so Snakepit, Velvet Revolver, Slash with Myles Kennedy tunes and maybe even key songs/artists that inspired them or they have covered. This is partly to make the set a bit more diverse so appeal to a wider audience, but also there are some killer songs to choose from post Guns.
I have loads of experience and good gear. Not really wanting to do a looky likey thing, but want to take this seriously giving the project the right kind of image and promoting it right. Age and Gender not an issue.
