A singer wanting to join a band

I am a 42 year old man looking to fulfill a dream I wish I had done at a much younger age.
I have been singing since I was a child but stopped practicing and pushing my range years ago! I am looking for a band who is prepared to hear me out and hopefully see the potential of a sound that we can make together with practice and time.
I love blues, jaz, rock. I want to entertain and watch people singing and dancing and enjoying what we do
