Bass player looking for a band

Hi, I am and 18 year old whos looking for a band to gig with. I am from Harrogate and i am currently stuck with a band that just wants to cover green day. I would like to do all kinds of music. I dont have a driving licence so would prefer lifts however I can get transport if needed. I also know a few places where we could get gigs in my area however that isnt so important to me. thank you
