Bass player looking for band

Hi, I am looking to join/form a band with a few to gigging around pubs/clubs etc. My influences are varied but mainly include Deep Purple, UFO, Free, Bad Co, Cult, Thin Lizzy, Maiden, Rainbow etc, etc. Yes!! I am of a certain age!
I am not a stand at the back with the drummer sort of bass player and prefer to be at the front sparking of the guitarist/vocalist.
I have reasonable gear: Gibson Thunderbird, Epiphone Thunderbird and a very large and heavy Trace Elliot rig.
