Bassist looking for funk band

I'm a bassist looking for a band.

Right now I can't get enough of the Scary Pockets and Vulfpeck.

Other influences include: Stevie Wonder, Incognito, Jamiroquai and Red Hot Chili Peppers, .

I earned my chops in my teens busking in a gospel church - Abraham Laboriel being my top inspiration - so I'm happy improvising around a tune.

That said, although I like to play funk, my listening tastes range from Bach to Civil Wars, Athlete to Ojos de Brujo, so I'm open to options.

I've played in a number of bands, doing both covers and writing originals. I'm excited to find a new group.
