Bassist looking for pop/indie band

Hi I am a 16 year old bassist looking for a band with a pop or indie sound who are looking to do some gigs. I have no experience working with a band, however play a lot in my free time.
I like music from groups such as Blur, Oasis, Stone Roses, The La's, Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz and The Beatles.
