Bassist needed for alternative rock band

We're Vortex Town. A Nottingham based Alt Rock band. We're looking for a new bassist so we can get gigging again.

We're currently in the process of releasing our debut album. Which was influenced by Grunge and 00's Alt Rock. You can listen to our first EP with the same sound here:

But going forward, we're looking to fuse more genres into our current sound, particularly Psychedelic Rock, Stoner Rock, Shoegaze, Trip-Hop, and Electronic Music, in the hope of creating something unique.

We're looking for a bassist who is:

- Available Wednesday evenings for a 2-3 hour practice in Nottingham.
- Can commit to gigs and studio time once we've booked it in.
- Organised with good communication skills.
- In possession of working and gig/ studio worthy equipment, with the means of transporting it.
- 8+ years experience playing bass, with previous band/ gigging experience.
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about using effects, as we've been experimenting with turning the guitar and bass into more synth like instruments with our newer material, similar to how bands like Muse, Radiohead, NIN, and Nova Twins do.
- Aged roughly in between mid 20's to mid 30's (We range from 26 to 31).
- A bit tech savvy. We put a massive emphasis on pre-production where we home record our songs in demo form via DAW before hitting the studio.
- Additional bonus points if you can do backing vocals!
