Bucket list guitar player wants to play gig

My good friend rik is hoping to play a gig with an established rock band( guns n roses style music) in the next two years so if someone may help him for fill his dream. He is a practiced musician but instead of following his dream went into his other passion falconry. Can only achieve this between August to Feb due to work. I know a lot of practice would be put in to achieve this one night dream if any one can help please he is 45 and an amazing person. Thanx to anyone who could have him guest play in a gig x
