Double bass player wanted for 1930s/40s/50s mini big band

Hi we are a brand new mini big band based in Bristol. We were formed 7 weeks ago and require a double bass player to complete our line up which includes Female vocals,piano, drums, alto sax,tenor sax, baritone sax, trumpet, trombone, clarinet.

Our genre is the standards of the 1930s/40s/50s.

Our band is called room 10. We are on facebook and have our own website.

We are mixed levels and are using the band to improve our individual playing as well as looking for paid gigs, when we reach the required level.

Enthusiasm, commitment and grit determination just as important/more important that ability, as we are all on a learning curve.
