Drummer and bassist needed for a hybrid hardcore/metal band!

Hey!

We're a queer, London based band called Moggies, and we're looking for a bassist and a drummer. Specifically, musicians that are also queer/LGBTQ+, as the safety and comfort of our current members are our top priority.

Our aim is to write, record and release music as much as we can, and from that, go gigging wherever and whenever we can (while having an absolute blast doing so!).
We believe that Moggies isn't tied to just one genre. We want influences and experience from all corners of the music world. Got a secret liking to country? Listen to some psychedelic on the weekends? Got a soulful guitar lick that you've been sitting on for a while? We want to hear it! In our band, no idea is a bad idea.

Age range: 20-27
Influences: Pierce the veil, the jazz scene from the 80s-90s, sad girl music, Enter Shikari, Korn and My chemical romance

Now onto the hard part What we're expecting from you.
Be competent in your chosen instrument - doesn't matter how long you've been playing, as long as you can play well.
Be an all around good team member - we don't want beef, we just wanna have a good time.
DO NOT be any sort of phobic, or discriminatory to any race, gender, sexuality, disability etc. We don't want a bigot, thanks!
A good amount of availability - we will need someone who can commit to pretty frequent songwriting meetups, and eventually, frequent gigs!
Have your own gear - doesn't have to be anything flashy! Just the main necessities
And most importantly, be yourself!

We've uploaded some sample demos for you guys to hear- bare in mind they are still in the VERY early stages of development, and a lot about them can change, especially with the new creative minds that join us.
