Electric trumpet/ trumpet player wanting rock/jazz/funk band

Moving to college and growing out of brass bands I want to try a new type of band. Use of guitar pedals and effects for electric trumpet making it fit into rock style. 9 yrs total playing with about 6 years professional gigging experience. Thankyou, Sam -16
