Flute player looking to join folk/jazz/world music band

After taking a bit of a break from publicly playing music I'm now looking to plug the gaping hole this has left in my soul. My background ranges from classically trained flautist to lead singer in a folk travelling band, and it's been overdue to dedicate a chunk of my London life to playing and collaborating again!

I've played the flute since being a kid, in the last ten years focussing on improv in the areas of folk / jazz / world-music, and it's that area I would love to get back into and feel most at home at. That said, I'm open to exploring and experimenting in a very broad range of genres and collaborations. This is the point where I feel like I should stress that flute is such a cool instrument, that can do way more than playing a short whistle tune in a classical orchestra, so if in doubt, please reach out!!

I have dabbled in a range of other instruments (piano, guitar, percussion, glockenspiel, melodica to name a few) and have vocal experience as a lead singer of a folk travelling band and extensive choid / musical / youth opera projects.
