We are a covers band consisting a guitar, keys, violin, bass and vocals, if we say so ourselves we are more than capable musicians but can we find a drummer that is reliable and talented, so far it's either one or the other, are other bands having the same problem?
Like gold dust. Only played with a really talented drummer once or twice. Usually we ended up with a compromise. Less talented but more reliability.
You just have to keep placing ads, networking etc. eventually you'll get someone.
A lot of drummers about but a lot seem to lack feel. We tested one drummer whose motto was simply less is less. He had a really loud kit and as soon as we stared a song he'd go absolutely mental.
Where are u from I am from ashford kent
We're in Maidstone, are you interested?
Drummers used to be difficult to find but not nowadays, I find anyway. The real rarities are keyboard players. And they're usually trained and s*"t hot, done all the grades etc.
The Bandonkers forum is no longer taking new posts, but the discussions are staying here to read. The classifieds are still very much open.
