Fusion funk bass player available

I'm looking for a band to play with. Not your average indie covers band but people who want to groove and play our own thing. Influences various but range from jazz fusion to funk metal. I have rehearsal space in York, pro equipment and an open mind.

It would be nice to have guitar, drums, keys, vocals.

We'll be mostly playing for fun and recording in the studio but possibly the occasional gig but like I say I'd rather avoid the pub covers scene.

Absolutely no punk, and tempo generally stays below 100bpm!

I'm 36, work at the uni and have transport and love any excuse to leave the house!
