Late to the game

owned guitars for all my adult life only started getting good at the end of my 20s so not a lot of people are interested in collaborating as they are far more advanced.
just looking for people to jam with and maybe play some duo stuff (also looking for full bands things but happy just to find a jam buddy)
I have had tuition for about 4 years for both guitar and vocals (as well as 15 years of off and on messing about before that.) and can sing and play comfortably
like all things rock and pop not really interested in metal (despite enjoying the genre I just cant play it and have accepted I dont like it enough to spend time to develop some of the techniques required) I love all the classic rock guys and girls and grew up in the 00s so want to enjoy some of that and have a fairly high register for a male singer.
I play regularly with some older guys doign all the the lead vocal and ryhthm as well as lead for some songs but looking to collaborate with someone closer in age to try and get some song variety.
keeping it casual not looking to go out and change the world but entertaining a room of people with some covers and originals (with a writing partner) would be awesome. 25+ would be my age bracket
