Mature musicians sought for jam

Bassist/Guitarist recovering from health issues and looking for some people to jam with in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Have only just started playing regularly again, so the standard is not what it would be, but I expect rapid improvement - but I could do with musician companions to play with and provide some motivation to learn new things. Haven't gigged since 2003.
I'm not averse to singing but many are averse to hearing me sing :-) I.O.W. I'm happy to wail at jam sessions if no-one else wants to. I have written a few songs and am happy to contribute to songwriting.
Retired, so plenty of time. Good gear, transport etc and a place to play is available locally (hire charges).
