Punk/pop band wanted for vocalist

I'm a vocalist, guitarist and song writer, just got back from studying song writing at uni and want to get myself back in a band.
Ideally want to be playing gigs with a band (Bass, guitar, drums) with pop/punk influences. (Similar to that of Green Day, MCR, FOB, etc).
Would be interested in jamming/rehearsing covers until we feel comfortable as a band to start writing together, but I do already have songs that I want to put a band to if anyone's interested :)
