Singer wanted for erasure covers / tribute band.
Looking for a confident singer to form an Erasure tribute act.
The attributes that make Andy Bell a great frontman are a powerful vocal performance coupled with energy and the ability to work the stage. If that sounds like you, you may well be the right person.
Pubs and clubs to begin with but looking to perform weddings, parties, corporate events and themed evenings, so dedication and reliability are a must but so too is enjoying the experience. If successful, I would also like to consider one or maybe two backing vocalists for that full band feel and extra live elements to the performance.
A couple of gigs per month would be good but am happy to be flexible and would consider working with more than singer if it proves practical?
My name is Chris and have been performing on and off for over 30 years. I started off as
a drummer, playing for several Hull bands and have enjoyed a lot of gigging and studio experience.
I have been playing keyboards and recording electronic music for many years now and have experience writing original music for corporate clients.
I'm creating the backing tracks myself (which I will play live keys over) as the backing tracks I have discovered on line just don't seem to cut it. This also allows for the ability to really edit the songs and create alternative versions and extended mixes having access to multi-track versions of the songs.
Now it's time to get on stage again, but this time playing the popular hits of an incredibly well loved band and one of my favourites.
If this sound like it could be for you and you're a bit of an Erasure fan, get in touch.
