Spoken word artist looking to form post-punk project

Looking to form a gigging band with like-minded individuals. Original proto/post-punk/avant garde/indie stuff - influences include The Fall, Teenage Jesus, LUDUS, Richard Hell, Half Man Half Biscuit, Sultans of Ping, Modern Lovers, Nightingales, Suburban Lawns, Throbbing Gristle etc. etc.

Elements of brass, keys and other instruments would be great to incorporate into the sound. Also, a good mix of people - I want a group who can write tracks with a conscience - queer culture, feminism, social politics etc.

I've been doing Spoken Word under the name T.S. IDIOT (https://tomstockley.weebly.com/ts-idiot) and written and gigged with improv duo The Hideous Trend (https://soundcloud.com/thehideoustrend).

I've also got experience in promotion, live events and other areas of the music industry (www.weareuncollective.weebly.com). Would be looking to gig and release records eventually.

I'm based at the top of Totterdown / Knowle and have a basement suitable for practising (got a bass, guitars and amps too - but no drum kit)
