Starting a band

I'm a self taught guitarist/bassist/singer that is looking to get a band together to write and perform original material. One or two cover versions would be okay, but generally want to start a band where we write material ourselves. Rock and New Wave orientated, but open to all. I have demos which I have produced myself for those interested.
