Versatile bass/double bass player wanted for band project

Hello there,

So I am looking for a bass/double bass player to form a new line-up for an original band project.

The aim of the project will be to rehearse and record a new album in the studio, as well as perform gigs/festivals.

I have been a songwriter for two band projects in Bristol who have toured the UK, played at festivals, and also have recorded two EPs and an album in the studio. My main instruments are guitar/vocals as well as electronic production.

I am currently living in London, with a set of new songs and I am looking up to setting something fresh and unique here. Influences of the material range from Velvet underground, Jazz/Latin, Ian Dury, soul, electronic, punk, tropical, Dylan, Lou reed, and Orbison.

Ideally looking for a Bass/double bass player that is versatile and likes to express subtlety as well as rawness.

If we can get the core vibe together, we can add other instrumentation to our project, of which I am in contact with some fantastic musicians and collaborators. I also have label/publisher connections who are interested in the work that we do.
